The Treatment

The staff at The Kimberly Center is committed to using an integrated treatment model that is both rooted in the best clinical science available and exquisite therapeutic skill. By employing individual and group modalities that are grounded not only in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Transference Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), but also in relational psychoanalytic principles and the mindfulness/spiritual traditions, the treatment model of the Center is uniquely positioned to help those struggling with the most intense of difficulties achieve a measurable degree of happiness and success.

About The Director

Obtaining graduate degrees from both Yale and Columbia Universities, Dr. Jones has not only gained significant hands-on experience at some of the top personality treatment, psychoanalytic, and spiritual/humanistic training programs in the country, but also has an integrated intuitive understanding of the theory and technique needed to employ superior psychotherapy treatment. Building on this comprehensive understanding and training, he, along with professional colleagues, is dedicated to integrating the best clinical science with a caring, yet appropriately confrontational, treatment approach in order to help individuals overcome even the most intensely difficult of life circumstances.

Who Will Benefit From This Program

Those who are having interpersonal and intimacy issues; struggling with self-harming behaviors (including chronic addiction, eating disorders, and suicidal ideation); rapid, unmanageable mood swings, and a general, yet chronic failure to thrive in life, will benefit from the Kimberly Center’s unique treatment model. Most importantly, however, this intensive integrated treatment program is best suited for those who are sincerely ready to make the strong commitment needed to make a substantive, positive change in daily living.
